• Gameplay – Total: 86
• Addictiveness – 9/10. Bastion is a very addictive game and easy to get lost in, I had to struggle to pull myself away to go to the dentist.
• Length – 9/10. This game is decent in length and enjoyable to the utter end. I enjoyed it from start to finish and the story was intriguing and interesting to the end!
• Replay Factor – 5/10. While Bastion does have a great storyline, it is similar to many games where there is simply not much to do once you have beaten it as the game is the same.
• Features – 10/10. Bastion features a wide variety of gadgets, weapons, and abilities that it gives you throughout the course of the game and give you interesting options for upgrading said items as you work to gather materials to do so. The game features a rather unique map, not quite a platform, but you are able to fall off the edge of the map, or even have the ground pounded out from under you.
• Game Engine – 8/10. The game runs very well, it ran smoothly with few to no problems that I noticed.
• Controls – 8/10. Bastion is easy to control, the controls are occasionally a tad bit jittery, but for the most part the controls work well.
• Graphics – Total: 86.5
• Effects – 8/10. Bastion contained a lot of graphical effects that were very appealing. While simple, they were very nice and went smoothly on the screen and during the game.
• Textures – 8/10. The game featured a very nice set of textures that were very appealing. I enjoyed playing the game with its graphics.
• Images – 10/10. The images and graphics in Bastion were pleasing and well put together.
• Animation – 9/10. For the most part there were no problems with the animations of the game, though I did notice a few jerky animations with the main character, enough to lower it from a 10, but not enough to affect the gameplay.

Gizian Wampo Corporation. The GWC was originally an independent corporation created by Wampo’Lork for the purpose of research and development for other corporations. The corporation was led by several generations of the Wampo clan before eventually Wampo’Lork’III began to deal with the Gizian military. The GWC began to create vastly superior products for the Gizian military that eventually the entire corporation was absorbed by the military as part of the drunken decision of Wampo’Lork’IV. That change was irreversible as Wampo’Lork’IV died only a few hours later of alcohol poisoning, leaving no other descendants to carry on the Gizian Wampo Corporation. The GWC was made up of groups of scientists that the rest of society found too insane to allow them to do such work, the GWC scooped up these scientists, allowing them to continue their passion in a relatively safe and supervised facility. The GWCs as these scientists became known as were not inhibited by the morales that other scientists held to allowing them to create many fascinating and deadly inventions. When the Gizian Wampo Corporation was absorbed into the military, these GWCs created individual groups aboard many ships and continued their craft, while others created entire colonies just for their research. The GWCs are often referred to in a derogatory manner as the Gizians in White Coats mainly because of the common occurrence of a GWC being dragged away in a straight jacket.
